EMERGENCY DENTAL CARE

Dental emergencies can happen at any time. Whether you are experiencing severe tooth pain, a broken tooth, swelling or trauma, we prioritise emergency patients and aim to see you as soon as possible. Call us on 02 4228 9205 and we will do our best to accommodate you promptly.

Tooth ache

Tooth pain can range from mild sensitivity to severe, throbbing pain. It may be caused by decay, a cracked tooth, an abscess, or exposed roots. Early treatment prevents the problem from worsening. Do not ignore persistent tooth pain — call us and we will assess and treat the cause as soon as possible.

Broken tooth

A broken or chipped tooth requires prompt attention to prevent infection and further damage. Avoid chewing on the affected side and rinse your mouth gently with warm water. If there is bleeding, apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth. Call us immediately so we can assess the damage and discuss repair options such as bonding, a crown, or other restorative treatment.

Pain

Oral pain can originate from a tooth, the gum, the jaw joint (TMJ), or surrounding tissues. Regardless of the cause, persistent or acute pain should never be ignored. Our team will identify the source and provide appropriate relief and treatment as quickly as possible.

Gum disease

Gum disease (periodontal disease) ranges from mild gingivitis to severe periodontitis. Symptoms include red, swollen or bleeding gums, bad breath, and loose teeth. Early intervention is key to preventing tooth loss. We provide thorough assessment and tailored treatment plans to restore gum health.

Extractions

When a tooth is severely decayed, fractured, or affected by advanced gum disease beyond repair, extraction may be the best solution. Our team performs extractions with care and precision under local anaesthesia to ensure your comfort. We will also discuss replacement options such as implants or bridges to restore your smile after healing.
